Overview
If you can spare a night, this is how I would want to see Nusa Penida myself. Staying on the island means you watch sunset from the cliffs instead of racing for the last boat, and you reach the famous spots either early or late — when the light is soft and the crowds are gone. Genuinely the version of this trip I recommend most.
Kelingking, Broken Beach and Angel's Billabong at an unhurried pace.
The reward for staying — the west coast at golden hour with almost nobody around.
A simple, clean island guesthouse (I will suggest options to suit your budget).
Diamond Beach and Atuh before the day boats arrive.
Swim, rest, or add a snorkel stop.
Afternoon crossing and hotel drop-off.
